XAMPP is an open source cross-platform web server solution stack package which is free. It consists of mainly Apache HTTP Server, MySQL database and also interpreters scripts that are written in the PHP and Perl programming languages.
Similar to XAMPP, there exists a WAMP for Windows, MAMP for Mac and LAMP for Linux.
Go to official page and Download Xampp.
Once your download is completed, click on the .exe file and then run it.
Select from the window opened, which are the features you need to install with Xampp
Select the directory where you need to install the Xampp.
Click next to start the installation process
Now, you can see that, installation is on process.
Once the installation completed, you need to click on the shortcut icon in the desktop to start Xampp control panel
You can start Apache and My SQL components from Xampp control panel. You can start other components also from here.
Verify the installation by clicking on the administrative link in the control panel. Now XAMPP is successfully installed on your PC. Now open the browser and enter “localhost” on your address bar. You will be redirected to a page telling you that you’ve successfully installed xampp on your system.
